Is there anywhere that let's you search and choose currently available main line Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars? I'm looking for to buy a few Le Mans related vehicles for something I'm planning, but don't want to pay to much above supermarket prices.
Any local toy fairs? I was selling at a local to me one (Exeter) and there are always plenty of HW's.They're both 1:64ish, neither have a consistent scale with themselves from car to car and Hot Wheels isn't strictly to scale anyway. Hot Wheels tend to exaggerate things like car width and wheel diameter, sometimes lowering roofs and things for dramatic effect (think concept car vs production). Matchbox are generally the more scale accurate of the two.
For trivia's sake... I've got a new Hot Wheels RS200 and an 80s Matchbox RS200 and the Matchbox car is significantly bigger.

Hi all, this might be off topic for this thread but I have opened up an old matchbox car that I was hoping to repaint, what do I need in order to put it back together?
I'm thinking short M2 countersunk bolts? I can get an M2 tap from amazon and I'm thinking I need a 1.6mm drill bit for steel?
Is there a cheap source for the correct bolts? I don't really want a full box of different ones like they sell on amazon.
