Can I ask, how do other people keep their lego instructions? My lad has got so many now that they are in danger of becoming wrecked, i'm in need of a solution!

I keep all boxes and instructions together, mostly because lego is worth tons more with them
Did sell some random boxes and instructions on ebay a few years ago

Yep same, all packaging and instructions go back in the boxes, which are then put in bigger boxes in the loft.

If your situation is similar to mine then I'm guessing your lad takes kits apart regularly so needs easy access to the instructions?

Personally speaking his boxes go in the loft and the instructions go in plastic wallets in a ring-binder on his bookshelf.

You can always download them from the net and use these ones while he is playing. Keep the originals safe in a box.

Originals in a box, and downloaded pdf on a tablet.

Yes, his sets are on a constant cycle of build/rebuild. we currently have loads of books over-spilling a box-file. I cant help but get a bit precious when he starts turfing them out to look for something specific!

I have been told to strip the Hogwarts Castle to Make some room. Any suggestions on how to sort the parts?

Absolutely that would be great however if the tablet comes out he wants to play on that so that doesn't work so well, I think that's often the case with young children.

The Entertainer in Maidstone were giving out free NASA satellite bagged kits today, as a make and take setup, my lad was well into it and blagged 2 as the guy running it took a shine to him :-)

Nice little set, not sure if it’s a national promotion but worth dropping by if you have one near.

Picked up one of those sets at Legoland in the summer, like their space sets.

We picked this up for £50 from Argos a few months back, my son finally saved enough money between birthday and chores yesterday. He started at 9am yesterday, finished at lunchtime today...

Best bargain I've ever managed with Lego, 2500 pieces and it looked like a great build.

I bought one of these for myself when they were on offer too, great deal. Not got round to building it yet but it'll look good with my various vintage ships once I do.

Have also got the Ninjago docks to build and add to the Ninjago city too so it can always sit infront of them.

I grabbed one of those when Toys R Us were shifting all their stock. Love the Ninjago stuff, still maintain that the city is one of the best sets they've ever done.

Yeah the city is by some stretch the largest set I've built and I genuinely love it (another bargain at £199 for almost 5,000 pieces). It's got so much variation and neat little oriental details etc. I know sod all about Ninjago but the city, docks and boat all appealed to me anyway.

Recently picked up Architecture Studio and about £200 of new bricks from bricklink to supplement it. In a bit of a financial pickle and need to get shot fast, what’s the best place to sell it! eBay? Bricklink? The latter seems like it’ll be a lot of faff, but it’s a bit of a niche job lot to sell, would I be best off selling architecture studio as it’s own thing and then try to sell the rest as a job lot?
Ta!
