That was a nice warm up! I like the Volvo...Big box arrived and rather than jumping straight into the deep end, started with 42053 the Volvo EW160E...
Believe it or not I am not going to make any of them this time round, I really cannot be bothered! Bit sick of LEGO if truth be told
Guys,
I've somehow completely missed this Group Buy thread and am now utterly green with envy! I'd love to get a Porker set - 30th Birthday present to myself to combine my love of Porsche and Lego - and I appreciate I'm too late for this group buy but could anyone advise the best place to order from/ best price? Is it best to contact Russ?
Thanks in advance!
Loving the pictures of the semi built Porsche with the gearbox linkage!

Ha ha, I've registered via the link, and will put mascara on for full eyelash fluttering!
I assume everybody is happy with the Porsche? I've been looking at the posts on some of the other products too.. Incredible. I've probably saved myself a fortune by being unaware of these group buys!

Not sure why the Porsche is a Technic model.
Under the skin it looks quite complexJust finished the bucket excavator, an outstanding model; with bag(s) 6 being the highlight for me. I had an issue with the lowr conveyor belt but that was resolved with a couple of minutes tinkering. It boggles my mind how these designs are conceived but I am delighted with the end result.
Not sure if I will attempt the Porsche or just leave it for sometime in the future.

Finished the Porker - put on top of the Pocher Lambo for comparison

I was going to do that Although having said that it's easy I suspect I will get half way through and wish I'd spent a thousand times as much for one built right hand drive at the factory

Russ and Podie,
Another 'thank you' from a satisfied customer.
I was amazed at the packaging and quality of the presentation. Lego has certainly put the effort in!
Did I miss something; is there an option to motorize?
I am (resisting) keeping mine for the cold dark winter nights. Well, that and the crane 42009.
