Roop you git Are you some sort of closet millionaire? If I spent that much on stuff (which I would love to do) I couldn't afford to keep myself in pies.

I wish. All about priorities really. I don't smoke or drink a lot, I don't drive an expensive car and I don't take expensive holidays. The toys are only expensive if you pay too much for them. Buy the right models at the right price and they will continue to increase in value as they are rare. The new ones always go down hence my stash of vintage r/c toys. Even the opportunity cost is offset by the inflation in value. I suppose I could sell them all and get a Boxster to tool round in, but I'd miss the toys...! You buy Hollands and I buy Kyosho...!

What I would like one day is a large scale heli like the R22 or a turbine model. Too much $$$'s though.

Yeah, that's fair enough I suppose. On balance, I actually have a ton of stuff but its not quite as focused as your collection. Will take pictures at some point.

I love the Vario turbine stuff, but as you say it costs a fortune.

Excellent, love to see some of it.

Gorgeous. I'd love a gasser R22 or a Turbine Bell 222 or A109P. sublime

A mate sent me a 5meg video of someone flying a small rc plane inside a gymnasium. How can I post it up so you guys can see it? I couldnt drive my rc buggy in that space, let alone fly a 'plane!

Vid is titled Benoit in case you've already seen it

I fly the micro copter and a couple of 3D planes in my lounge when I'm feeling bored/irresponsible Mostly just prop hanging with the planks though as the missus gets upset when I brake things (her ornaments, not my planes )

Here's what I've got lying around just now. Everyting else is in storage as I'm between homes, but this covers most of it:

Tamiya Renault Alpine A110

Tamiya Lancia 037 Rally (Unfinished)

Tamiya Baja King (yes, I know the colours are appalling)

Kyosho RC Bike

Tokyo Marui BB Firing Tank

Graupner E-Trainer

Powered RC Glider

My first scratchbuilt boat to no particular scale or design, just trying to see what I could do.

My current project, a scratchbuilt PT boat. Will be a lot better and more detailed than my first effort

Will try and get some pictures of my Ikarus Piccolo up when I find it

Got a Scratch built Riva Aquarama as well.

Haven't got any pics of it finished (probably cos it still needs a few bits doing) but here's one from a fair while back:

I used to run 1/8 nitro in '86 when I was 12. Then I went through tons of rc cars until I could drive at 17. Now I'm only just getting back into modelling with properly hand built planes from plans. Current one is only 30" span, full 4ch, running a jewel of a micro engine - PB 033. It's designed to quickly unassemble into small parts to fit in a case for my car boot. Perfect for summer evenings in cornfields

Tamiya King Hauler. All electrical goodies, lights, sounds, cab vibrate etc. Missing an indicator lens

Shumacher Procat (IIRC a limited edition that came with a few upgraded parts, 2.2 inch wheels etc). I do have the rear wing, but o-rings that hold it on snapped.

Schumacher xtr 21 (3 speed 2wd) with WRC Peugeot 206 shell.

HPI Savage with hot parts inc K&N Filter Ally pipe etc.

Also at the moment, my son's Traxxas T Max.

I recently fitted a mini "nanny" camera to the front of the Savage and can now drive it around Dartmoor from the comfort of a car using a mini TV. Confuses people quite a bit but great fun.

Finally finished this from plans. Features my own design wing and hand cut vinyl graphics. Playstation fans might recognise Wipeout, which may well happen on it's maiden flight :P

So was I actually. I thought it might be an amusing name for the plane though. I was always better at N64 pod racing

I am looking at buying a HotBodies Lightning GT - a sort of hybrid between a stadium and a Monster truck .
Just wondered if anybody on here has any experience with one ?

It would be my first Nitro , so would be asking you guys for advice on Running in / Tuning on a regular basis !!!
