Not just Ecto-1 - many of the larger sets will have multiple bags, they're numbered by stage, not by the total number of bags. I suppose it makes sense when 'Stage 1' is a big one and fitting all the parts into one bag wouldn't work. They also group parts in bags so larger pieces are all in one, smaller pieces in smaller separate bags rather than all being mixed in with the larger pieces...

All I can say is that I don't think I've ever had a single missing piece in any of the ones I've built which is pretty good going on Lego's part.
By FAR the worst for this I've ever had was the Star Wars "The Sith" wall art. Had quite a few missing 1x1 studs needed to complete it and when I tried to raise a case to have the missing parts shipped, Lego didn't know that some of the parts were in that set (one of the colours for the studs wasn't listed) and then when I manually entered it they cancelled the order without telling me why and their Helpdesk couldn't tell me why or help me either.

That was months ago and I've still not gotten around to just buying the studs I need.

That being said, I agree - I can't think of ANY other sets I've had in ages that have had anything missing.

Thanks guys all good now apart from the sticker sheet that has a very tidy crease thanks to the manual would have just been better in one of the bags instead of with the manual.

On back 3 when I get home :-)

I just saw this on social media and thought it an awesome way to display the rocket!
That’s a really good way to display it.
I have mine mounted like that, but sideways due to space issues. Got it from this chap on etsy:

Looking at the website, looks like you buy the file and then build (3D print?) the parts yourself? Is this correct?

Looking at his website I’m going to say he was a member of the Battle of Britain Memorial flight.

If anyone has a 3d printer files are available both

https://grabcad.com/library/lego-saturn-v-wall-mou...

and

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4345057

How much does it 'cost' to print something like this if you have a printer?

Filament is £15-£20 per kg for PLA which should be fine for this, my slicer says 165g. That's about £3.50 in materials plus electricity and depreciation as a cost model.

Typical charging model is £1 an hour print time + prep time + materials
£27 + £5 + £3.50 = £35.50

Update on the Bricklink 10k MOC Club.
https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/intr...

It appears that there are 31 ideas that had 10K+ supports but did not make the Lego approval that are going through a review and will be crowd funded as sets.If they get the support required then only those who supported them get to buy them.

Looking at the list I am a little disappointed. I really wanted the Gemini capsule.

As a vintage castle fan I like the Castle in the Forest. The big fishing boat is also a really nice model.

Cool, thank you, I wouldn't mind paying that to be honest, it's a great way to display it.

When I bought mine he was selling the printed parts as well as the designs, but looks like he may have no stock.

Cheers, placed mine too!

Also JASFDesign on Etsy has the 3D-printed Saturn V mounts back in stock, I've just ordered one from him.

Ordered the shuttle, was the Ulysses Space Probe another gone in 10s issue? I never saw any options to purchase.

Edit - It's delayed apparently.

Posted above its been postponed. One site is suggesting to allow for more supply to avoid a Porsche scenario.
