Am I alone in finding some of the Speed Champion sets incredibly effective, given size and small brick count ... whilst others just look very amateurish?
Nope - I really like them too, although this latest batch is a bit meeh. But will probably still get them
The best looking one out of this lot seems to be the old Corvette IMO.
But I also will probably get them all...

Some certainly look better than others, however I often find them much better "in the brick" rather than the box pictures.

They seem to nail the classics (always tucked away in the expensive twin sets), which is interesting as they have a lot smoother curves in real life so logically you'd think it might be the other way around. Some of the new ones in this batch, imo, look dreadful, I think there is simply too much going on with modern cars to really capture them. The best looking one out of this lot seems to be the old Corvette IMO.

I almost went with the moc you have used but not having those sets meant it was cost prohibitive.
Both are so cool!!

Koenigsegg Jesko
GR Supra
Mclaren Elva
Chevrolet Corvette C8-R & C3
Dodge Dragster & Challenger
Ford GT & Bronco R
All pictures in the link above.
Well they're all hugely disappointing. Supra looks weird and the Jesko and Elva I've never even heard of (although all McLaren's look the same so it makes no odds).Koenigsegg Jesko

What I find a shame is with the double sets you always get one really good model and one that's just a bit meh. If they sold them separately I'd be tempted by some of them.
