Now announced https://www.stonewars.de/news/lego-speed-champions...

Koenigsegg Jesko
GR Supra
Mclaren Elva
Chevrolet Corvette C8-R & C3
Dodge Dragster & Challenger
Ford GT & Bronco R

All pictures in the link above.
Well they're all hugely disappointing. Supra looks weird and the Jesko and Elva I've never even heard of (although all McLaren's look the same so it makes no odds).

What I find a shame is with the double sets you always get one really good model and one that's just a bit meh. If they sold them separately I'd be tempted by some of them.
Totally agree, huge disappointment. Was hoping for a run of iconic 80’s rally cars like the Quattro they did last year but no we get treated those ‘efforts’.

Got to be honest Lego sets the last few years have been largely disappointing. For every one decent set they offer there seem to be 2/3 that miss the mark in my opinion.

Would've bought the 68 Corvette, purple Challenger and Ford GT if they were singles, not interested in the twin packs though, too expensive.

Finished the Spce Shuttle over the weekend.
Varios ways of displaying it.

I have just started to build it. I have just finished the telescope, but seeing that image I might have a display problem, I think it is going to be a lot bigger than I though, and might not fit where I was going to put it. Which then begs the question, where is R2 going...

The Shuttle is quite a biggy!

It's a marvellous thing though and thoroughly deserves to be displayed!

My one arrived this morning but am on stage 10 of the 'other' one! It's good. Very good. Some very 'Technic' bits and utmost care is required or you will foul up!

I have the original R2 so I was wondering how the new release compares. Don’t really want to spend another £160 or whatever it is if the differences are negligible.

My son says I should. SWMBO has said, simply, don’t you fking dare!!!!!

Millions of people presumably, given how it's still on TV and still has a huge fan base?

It's still on because it's been paid for and fills air time. Im surprised it's not been a victim of wine cancel culture tbh. It's the same as king of Queens and everyone loves Raymond it just fills time.

The cafe set was absurdly successful, so no surprise really that they are following it up. I know 3 women who have the set who had never bought a Lego set in their life before that one.

Does this count as non Technic Lego? These should be arriving on Monday for my birthday.
And a surprise early present from my son.

He knows what I like

I just got the end of bag 10 and now have fully functioning landing gear and flaps. The landing gear is a very impressive piece of design to conceal that mechanism in basically a 4 tile high stack.

I just finished the Imperial Probe Droid. A little fragile, lots of details, a nice display piece!
