That's what technic should be, it should have that many functions (plus pneumatics, I know they're crap for realistic movement but come on, they're amazing) that you wonder how on earth they came up with fitting them in such a tight space.

The tow truck appeals to me a lot more than the Merc truck, not just on price
For £140 this is a great build!

Have to say. A fantastic build for the price. Really really good.

This looks pretty good value. May have to go to the Lego shop on Saturday…

It does look good but looks very similar in function to the green heavy recovery truck they did a few years ago which I bought, so can’t see myself with this.

Looks a bit clunky to me. I’m no expert but the wheels want to be about twice the size

I agree, the wheels are third too small

Well you're both wrong.

The three axle set up at the rear with smaller wheels is absolutely bang on for this. Oh, the first axle at the rear raises too, as they do.

If anyone is interested, Amazon have the Concrete Mixer (42112) reduced from £89.99 to £64.25 currently.

Just finished this. Enjoyed the build despite what felt like some unnecessarily fiddly bits and a lot of stickers but so annoying that it is almost impossible to pick up without dislodging the flexible pipe that makes the cabin frame.

Got it from Amazon for £29 a few months ago and it was great VFM IMO.

Isn’t it fabulous how McLaren have managed to capture the build quality and the design subtleties of Lego……..

That's an excellent swap, the Arocs is one of the few I missed out on and regret now that the prices are so high!!

Agreed, that’s a lot of money. I wish they did the same set but without the app crap. I’m not interested in remote control or the app thingy but have to pay the premium if I want to get the model.

My tow truck has just arrived - 120€ from Amazon seems a good deal.
