So the McLaren 2022 F1 car seems to be attracting quite a stir, mainly down to the stickers supplied with the car changing after release. I'm also assuming it's why the set sold out and has been difficult to source? Also with the sponsor changing, the new version is also out of date too,.

Probably worth holding onto the initial released set, as I guess in the future it will become a rare item to own?

Monster build!
It was a bit, I think it took about 10 evenings to complete.I did most of it sitting cross legged on the living room floor surrounded by Lego. It seems I am 34 going on 14.
Now I just need to contrive reasons to put it to work around the house, clearing the floor, shoo-ing the dog out of the door, that sort of thing

I did see that mentioned, it is an interesting one as I guess the first release will be worth keeping and not making but it is still not a good model even with the changes.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SNN0mu0W3s

Looking on ebay and the madness has started £250 to £350 for the 1st issue.

Seems the one I got from Jadlam is one of those “first issue” ones but that’s no use now as me and the kids are half way through building it! Never mind, we’ve enjoyed it all the same.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SNN0mu0W3s

Probably fall apart like real BMWs do as soon as the warranty is up kalexan273 said:

Have built a good few Technic models mostly cars and trucks .cranes etc over the years some Lego some Lepin etc My son just bought me the Raptor 42126 and said if I don't like it can exchange for some thing else. fancy the Shuttle but is twice the price of the Raptor is it a good build and worth doing ?

Good question, I'd say it depends on what you already have. If you have these then the Sian -
If you have these then the BMW bike -
If you have these then the space shuttle -
Only currently own 3 Technic Flagships (none built), sold the other 10.
Overall the space shuttle is excellent, I'd recommend that.
