I think the Chiron looked off too and to me it looked like it have been rolled a number of times. Maybe its something to do with the shape of Technic bricks but it did not look great.

One thing I do not understand why Lego release certain models from the manufactures. I really don't get the Lambo Sian as there are many more well known Lambos out there. Most people haven't even heard of a Sian so why this model. Personally I'd of preferred at Aventador, Huracan, Diablo etc.

Its not what Lego want to build. Its what the companies allow them to build.

Lego can build what they want in their make believe worlds. They have to stick to what the manufactuer aproves to get a licenced product.

I’m liking that Daytona (but then again I’m a Ferrari nut!)

Not sure I’m going to like the launch price so much. Will no doubt sell out instantly

Disappointed, I was expecting a real Ferrari Daytona, not the billionaires trinket version that rips off the name frown

Same here. I have got the 911 & Chiron, the Sian has no appeal. For this one, see below:

I thought the same about the Sian too, but was actually the most enjoyable to build and has some amazing angles of pieces and sub-builds.

I've recently bought a pre-owned, but not built GT3-RS, for considerably less than I expected and have started looking at the Chiron and Sian to make it a proper set, but the prices are not quite pocket-money levels.

But I did find these plinths to hand the cars from the wall which I think look very good, but again, not exactly pocket money prices.

I have to admit that scolding kids for leaving lights on feels a little hypocritical when I just dropped over a hundred quid on Lego...

I keep wondering about picking up the GT3-RS and Chiron to go with the LR and 911 RSR but there always seem to be other non-Technic sets I want more. Perhaps I'll regret it when the Chiron's retired and prices rocket...

I know that but I still do not get it. Lego goes to manufacturer and asked to recreate a known model Aventador for example. Both parties agree and sell more as folk know and have seen the model in the media, shows, posters etc. Win win for Lego and the manufacturer surely.

The manufacturers will want to show off their latest flagship or very latest product.

Well I enjoyed making the Batman car but now not sure what to do with it?! Do some of you sell them afterwards on eBay?

The Ferrari Daytona has landed on the lego site.

https://www.lego.com/en-gb/product/ferrari-daytona...

Not really a fan of the shape, so don't think I'll be getting one to sit next to my £200 Sian.

It's a Daytona SP3, a Ferrari Daytona is a model made in the 60s/70s.

In fairness to Lego, that looks a lot better than the leaked images, but it is still a no from me, mostly because it is a modern Ferrari billionaires trinket, and not a good looking one at that

The Ferrari's a no from me as well - it just doesn't do anything for me (either the real car or the model).

"...comes with a displayable coffee-table-style booklet" like the GT3/Chiron/Sian.
Do they REALLY think anyone leaves instructions to a Lego set out on the Coffee table? Cringe-tastic smile

Not sure I can justify £350.00 particularly as I am currently forbidden too buy anymore Lego.

However……..
