I really want the 911 to do the Countach rebuild.
I bought a second 911 specifically for that purpose...! I also got the Lambo MOC sticker set from here: https://www.okbrickworks.com/shop/vinyl-decals/leg...lufbramatt said:

Some (I think) decent offers at Zavvi - more System than Technic, but the SP3 at £260 for example.
https://www.zavvi.com/offers/lego/sale.list
Tempted by the DeLorean, has anyone built it on here. https://www.zavvi.com/offers/lego/sale.list

Oh you bd. Could've done without seeing that....
You're welcome!Costco have the Airbus for £120. That's tempting me.
SP3 at £262 - https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/lego-and-...
Airbus also for £120 - https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/lego-and-...
Ducati at £48 - https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/lego-and-...
If you're buying a couple of sets you can save enough to get a set "free" compared to the Lego site prices, if you know what I mean
Meant to say I've got the SP3 and the Airbus to build presently, not sure where the H175 will go but hey ho. Very tempted by the Ducati now...
I'm a bit of a n00b for this thread.
Did the Batman Tumbler last year though as first lego in 50 years. Very nice.
As Im into farm simulator 19 at the moment, when I saw the Technic John Deere and trailer in Sainsburys I had to buy that.
My question is though, how do you get the stickers on nice and lined up etc? I used tweezers but still couldnt get them bang on.
cheers all

Try using the flat end of the brick removal toolDid the Batman Tumbler last year though as first lego in 50 years. Very nice.

I use tweezers as it allows me to see whether I'm not only placing straight but also centrally on the block - I think it just comes down to practice, a steady hand and a good eye. Some of my early attempts were terrible!
The worst one for sitckers was the mirrored ones on the interior of the Space Shuttle bay doors - there was some swearing involved for that one I can tell you...

Just bought the Ducati for a mate's 50th. He has a 2020 Ducati Corse V4S, but at least the Lego one will work, without a stty leaking slave cylinder, stupid parts prices and servicing, etc.
I just finished the Ducati last night, only took a few hours. It's tiny compared to the BMW, the detail is no where near the same, and doesn't look as smart. BUT, its half the price, and I must say I enjoyed building the Ducati more than the BMW. For about 3 books with the BMW you don't really see much progress, the wee Ducati is instantly rewarding.

I finished my rebuild of the 42100 Liebherr Excavator using the Johnny V MOC yesterday - have to say, as much as I love the Excavator, Johnny V absolutely wins it.
The MOC plans were great and very detailed too, the only issue being the Powered'UP instructions not being correct so I sorted the controlling myself using trial and error (its quite simple though) - he has articulated arms, tracks, body, neck and head (2 way).
This was my first MOC.

I need to finish the Dagobah training set and then will be commencing dismantling of the Liebherr, which I am not looking forward to...

Might see about picking up a used Liebherr to do it - the main build doesn't interest me but Johnny 5 definitely does! How many of the original pieces are used in the J5 build?
If anyone has a Liebherr they might be willing to sell let me know...

I also did not enjoy the BMW very much, given that a lot of the intricate engine & gearbox stuff cannot be seen working when the build is completedEdited by moanthebairns on Friday 17th February 09:41
This weekend I built the three 40th anniversary sets. Next I will build the alternate models of each. Then the car chassis homage.
All three were good - I much prefer this bike to the big BMW; the suspension works better and it has a stand. The telehandler is the best.
I think I may restrict myself to smaller sets in future. Nothing over £100. They seem to be the ones I enjoy most - small to mid - so next purchases will probably be the Bolide and tractor.
