Amazon have the Lamborghini Sián down to £239.98 if anyone is after one.
It has been cheaper, but this is the lowest I've seen it on Amazon since the price hike.
Same price at Costco. It’s a good kit, but the Supercars are very similar these days, one of the reasons I haven’t picked up the Daytona and probably won’t.

Looks pretty cool. Not sure how complex though. I've got the old Le Man's racer and Chiron yet to build.
I love cars.

I love racing.

I love Lego.

That……. Does not excite me. And certainly not for £200

Sadly I think it'll be more bodywork and licensing than mechanisms and play value.

I’ve built all of them - and the Porsche. The gearbox has been refined through the sets - the Ferrari one has more elastic bands and works by far the best.
Thanks.

Anyone got the new "Classic Defender" set yet? Very interested in it.

Jader just posted his thoughts over in the Non-Technic Lego thread: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Still waiting on mine to arrive from Lego...! They're SO SLOW at shipping for some reason.

I’ve got a 42009 crane and 42030 Volvo loader in a cupboard. Had intentions to build them but have never got round to it. Be worth holding onto or selling?

Cheers.

I've been buying, building, selling and buying more Lego for a while and general Technic seems increasingly out of fashion. I am offloading everything except UCS Cars and motorbikes. As they are both retired for years now will be as good a time as any to sell. If a new similar crane comes out it will only hurt prices.

Now, the Glickenhaus or the Porsche, or even the Cadillac I'd be more excited over.

Amazon too.

That's jolly tempting - it looks a very clever set.

I built it a few months ago, I enjoyed it but by Christ it was a long one. Woulda been great over the festive period, not so much trying to cram a few hours a night in. 7/10 for build enjoyment for me.

Thanks for that, I’ve been sort of keeping an eye out for it for a while.

Some more images of the Lego Peugeot 9X8 racer. It will be 50 cm long. Same scale as the Ferrari 488 GTE and Porsche 911 RSR

New diff up front, and old one in the back

Here's the original racer it's based on.

Don't think it looks too bad. I've got the Lego Le Mans racer (42039 - released in 2015) to build yet but think this might be a nice evolution.

I like the monoshock front suspension. Looking forward to this one, a racing subject is always good and the WEC is a great series.
