I've not. I could unpack and photograph it all tomorrow and send them the details. Good call.

In brighter (though non-Technic) news, my Motorised Lighthouse arrived from John Lewis. It appears to be pukka.

I've sent Lego a good number of pictures.

Broadway Industries even put their address on the sticker on the box, so hopefully this'll be fairly straightforward for Lego.

Amazon have struck out my feedback for the sellers, adding a note that Amazon takes responsibility for the fulfilment related issue.

I'm fancying the Peugeot to build over the Le Mans weekend, it is £170 in Argos (in stock) but available on Amazon for next day at £135 ...

However based on the above posts i'm concerned that I might be getting a fake frown does this look like the genuine article? Amazon Peugeot ?

Although I did read somewhere recently that 'Fulfilled by Amazon' (aka a third party) and 'Sold by Amazon' products all get chucked in the same bin at the warehouse, so a bit of a pot luck.

Unlikely if that applies in this case. https://www.redpoints.com/blog/amazon-commingled-i...

I've had a few sets from Amazon this year (and over the previous couple of years) and they have all been genuine Lego.
I only buy sets dispatch and sold by Amazon though, and steer clear of anything from other sellers and 'fulfilled' by Amazon.

I wouldn't let the previous posters experience put you off, its listed as sold by Amazon so get it bought biggrin

I would say that I've never had fake Lego when it's been sold by Amazon themselves. Both of mine were fulfilled by Amazon for 3rd party sellers.

Also 20% off isn't particularly uncommon, even for relatively new sets. That one wouldn't concern me.

Yeah the same. I have bought many sets from Amazon and all been genuine, Had the odd issue with damaged boxes but that's about it. Do not get me started on Argos though as they are utter muppets.

Oh dear. I appear to have bought a Gallic Le Mans racer to build while the race is on this weekend. Oops.

I love that they've the included the "hand of God" steering wheel...

Really looking forward to building that set. It will be my Christmas present to myself...
