Brick club maybe?
that seems to be for people who want to build lego kits but only want to borrow the set.

I was thinking that they do buy sets to then rent out, so might be interested in purchasing a load at a time.

If anyone's been holding fast for the Liebherr, £402 from Amazon

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09QG5S459

Must admit I'm very tempted.

I remember that one - I didn't have it, but I saw it at the time. Nice.

I do miss the days of the mechanisms being exposed do you could see how it all worked.

New here. I'm thrilled to discover a Lego section within a car forum!

As a pandemic project, I built a nearly life-size model of a Chevy 454 and four-speed transmission. It won "Best Mechanical" at Brickworld Chicago, which is the biggest Lego show in the country.

I built it entirely from Lego pieces of the 1970s-1980s. Nothing newer.

I would love to share a link to my webpage and video all about the build, or even just a picture, but it says new members can't post links for their first 14 days. frown I understand spam prevention, of course. Site moderators: I completely support your rule.)

If you go on Youtube and search for "world's biggest Lego v8" you will find the video. Or search directly for my website "BrickHacks(dot)com" to find the FAQ.

Sporky, thanks!

SydneyBridge, rest assured, I'm into real cars too. smile My daily is a boring SUV for commuting and going to Home Depot, etc., but I've got a 1995 Miata M-Edition in the garage. It is my third Miata. My first one was a stock '96, and my second was a highly modded 2004 Mazdaspeed turbo. Wish I'd kept that one because it was really special, but finances didn't allow at that time.

Thats brilliant!

Great to see ‘blocky’ looking models rather than premoulded parts to smooth out models

This looks incredible to build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SgdTHWyyyFs

Not technic, but clearly a technical build.

The new Technic supercar is going to be a McLaren. Not sure which model yet. I'd love either a Speedtail or an F1, but have a feeling it will be something that is on sale just now.
