Wheel and axle advice needed
Discussion
Hi guys
I'm building a baby-walker for my little one in the rough style of a Toyota Hilux Dakar Pick-up. It's pretty basic with flat sides made from plywood.
This is the first time I've attempted something like this and I'm hoping to use the wheels and axles from an off-road RC car. However, I'm not entirely sure what I need.
For wheels, I'd like to use something like this http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/40375HobbyKing_174_1_10_Monster_Truck_10_Spoke_Black_Wheel_I_Pattern_Tire_12mm_Hex_2pc_.html
I know that I'll need wheel nuts but when it comes to axles and how to attach them to the body I'm a little stuck.
I was thinking about axles like this but can't figure out how I would hold them in place yet allow rotation for the wheels. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/5638Wheel_Axle_Steel_4mm.html
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
