Came across a Mario Kart racing set in a toy shop the other day. Made by Carrera in, I think, 1/43 the set is £35. However, it's not cross compatible with any other manufacturer.
Normally I'd stick with Scalextric but they don't do MarioKart stuff and the Carrera have wisely made the cars specific to their sets in terms of compatibility meaning you need to buy the whole thing from them.
Does anyone know anything about the quality, longevity and robustness of Carrera sets please?
