I've decided to start getting a model of all the cars I've owned, just as a little reminder of them all.

So far I've had a MK3.5 Fiesta, a MK5 Escort and my current Saxo VTS.

All I've found so far is an XR2i which looks nothing like my car did, no MK5 Escorts (apart from Cossies of course) and I've found a Saxo VTS in the right colour but its a MK2 not a MK1. Am I being too specific or will I be able to find cars like these? I'm willing to paint them and change the wheels (if I can?) and what not.

Scale isn't really important as long as there not smaller than 1/43

Thanks!

Cheers for the help both of you.

I did find one of the Atlas Citroens as was suggested but its an early MK1 with the different grill! And its a VTR rather than a VTS but its the closest thing I've found yet.

Also found the Escort here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...

And the Fiesta I found and it appears to be out soon http://www.minichamps.co.uk/Champs%20pages/Minicha...

Yes, externally there is very little difference between the R and S, mine doesn't even have the 16V badges and I can't see any marks if a previous owner removed them. The biggest difference is the interior, the VTS has sportier seats, also not sure if the VTR had blue dials (not that this would bother me on the model!)

Also I thought it would be the easiest to find as its somewhat interesting rather than some bog standard Fords! I guess I'm being a little too specific in what I want.

biggrin

Did I mention it should have the exact same type of tyres as mine too?
