I like it but is there an S197 (5th Gen) Mustang hiding somewhere in there at the front ?

Oui, et profitez du dégagement utile des roues dans les arches.

('Yes, and feast upon the useful wheel clearance in the arches' for the non french speakers like me)

S’alright. I’ve seen a lot worse recently.

It's pleasant enough, but it's not exactly a DS or CX is it?

Which might be a god send for kids not being sick at the back. Ask me how I know laugh.

Yeh, looks better than the latest BMWs, great ride, etc etc. But will you buy it? Not a chance, it will flop like all big Citroens.

Looks (to me) like every other SUV type thing on the road. If someone showed me a list of SUVs currently available and on the roads of the UK and included a pic of that one, its highly likely that I couldn't pick out the one that hadn't been released yet.

You could say the same thing about the similarities between the different estates, different saloons and different hatchbacks available.

Not entirely correct - I'm pretty confident I'd know what a 3 series touring looked like with all identifying features removed etc vs a C-Class vs an A4 Avant. I wouldn't have a clue with 99% of SUVs.

Looks like it's been eating sour sweets and its whole face has contracted. Yet somehow still better looking than half the out coming out of Germany...

"The car maker says can “overcome all obstacles, potholes, kerbs, speed bumps and other road connections.”

FINALLY, my car has arrived.

Well... not really. It has to be a 6-pot and the boot on that one looks too small. Better luck next time.

As a fan of big Citroen’s, I must say I’m a bit disappointed with this. I quite like the overall shape/profile, but the details are just underwhelming and the front end looks a bit dull; fussy design for the sake of it. I was hoping it would look far more like the CXperience concept, this just doesn’t have the presence of a big Citroen.

I was followed by a pre-facelift DS5 the other day, to me that was the last Citroen that genuinely had any form of road presence or wow factor, Peugeot nailed the new 508, just a shame this and the DS9 look a bit average.

I like it. And I like most of the DS models. But the problem has always been and will continue to be the lack of desirable engines. Whenever I think of French cars I think of rattling four-pot diesels and underpowered 1.2 litre petrols. Maybe all-electric would change that?

I feel like I shouldn’t like it, but I do. It looks quirky and different like a Citroen should.
