Thank you for your reply. Yep, spoke to a dealer who confirmed the change
Is there a difference in gearing between the manual and EDC? I do a 120 mile round trip commute once a week and would be nice if the gearing in the EDC was a little longer than the manual
I'm guessing here, but usually the automatic versions of cars generally have shorter gearing compared to the manual versions. Could be different with the Megane though and it's not always the case. I'm guessing it's still the 6-speed EDC and not the 7?Is there a difference in gearing between the manual and EDC? Picking mine up in a couple of weeks, thanks to The Rotrex Kid !
Starting to think about PPF for the front end, there's a lot vulnerable looking paintwork on the front bumper. Only problem with doing the bumper is it's then sods' law you'll end up with loads of chips on the bonnet instead, and doing the whole front end is difficult to justify on a car at this price point.
Would be interested to hear how people are finding the paintwork a couple of years on from new, particularly if anyone has a red one.
Just from cleaning rather than driving the couple of hundred miles I've driven is the arches by the rear door are dirt magnets and if wasn't a lease I'd be ppfing that area if you are paint fussy. IF the paint is as robust as my old 197 it did well (nimbus)Starting to think about PPF for the front end, there's a lot vulnerable looking paintwork on the front bumper. Hi I have the face lift rs 300 edc, I have noticed when I go slow when turning on full lock it seems like the tyre has come off the rim, not sure of a better way of explaining this, it obviously hasn't, but as anybody else noticed this or is it normal as it has the 4 wheel steering. Thanks

If it's a slightly clunk/clonk type thing it's normal.Ant RS said:

It’ll be to do with the Ackermann steering geometry. The Mk3 Meganes do it too. Gilhooligan said:

Been out today and it worked fine. Doubting myself now, wondering if it was user error
Mine is more of a dribble than anything else... it doesn't fill me with confidence put it that way. Having come from a coupe with no rear wiper at all I don't tend to use it much anyway.Slightly OT but is a non-working rear washer an MOT failure if fitted?

A new trophy passed me last week in Black on M6 at Tebay (I was in works van) and it looked superb! If I was to order one I think now I'd have to go black over VO
The previous owner of your orange one traded it in for a black one apparently! The 'problem' with the Megane is it looks good in all colours so you end up with colour regret... I love my red one but I would happily have a yellow, orange, pearl white, black or silver one.

Funnily enough that’s not true as the previous owner has been in touch with me via FB and there’s a little story behind mine. So clearly salesperson told you a lie The 'problem' with the Megane is it looks good in all colours so you end up with colour regret...
