as you are probably aware i have just bought a v6 clio,
all is excellent apart from the front end skates like a tart on an ironing board.
i have tried the tyre pressures checked wear and also matching tyres etc, have driven a couple of v6's and not had this problem before can anyone shed some light on this, it starts doing this at about 30-40 mph and contiues right up to(not saying)and scares the cr#p out of you as it wanders.
Thanks in advance
Dave.

Dave have you tried the V6 forum (can't remember address) or cliosport.net? Probably more likely to find an answer there.

I know that the V6 is very sensitive to chassis setup and the mk1 is known to be a bit lary anyway. Perhaps it needs some fine tuning?

I remember I read an EVO article (£10k performance cars IRRC) where an owner of a Mk1 V6 like yours had the his suspension settings changed by a Renault specialist (possibly Mark Fish motorsport) which had improved the handling making it less edgey (similar to what Renault did for the mk2 I assume).
Thanks j
Will do a bit of research i have half an idea that the geo is out slightly,
thanks for the info edgy is a tad understated hehe or maybe its my large boots whistle
