Collecting tomorrow afternoon. Will update when I have got BG back home and had a proper look around on Sunday.

Suffering a serious case of 'buyers remorse' now I have finally got to the end and have to pay for it.

Was also extremely peeved that the painters (not Phantom) jacked the car up along the bottom edge of the jacking points instead of into them at the requisite 90 degrees and squashed two of them flat to the cills, and a third corner jacked under an undertray. Two and a half tons FFS. Been quietly simmering about that all week.

the 90degree things can be bent back -- you certain it hasnt squashed anything behind the undertray?

im very surprised -- I would have thought PMC would have instructed their painters better than that

Mate of mine rebuilds and services Rolls Royce / Bentleys, and also gets flown about by owners to service them (Greece, USA, Switzerland to name a few). He's serviced and repaired various of my cars over the years and is quite willing to discuss what's broken, why it needs replacement etc. And his hourly rate is considerably lower than the dealer network! He's just replaced a door on my current motor that someone reversed into and did a brilliant job of paint matching. Unlikely to jack a car up wrongly to.

I've seen Aston's, RR/Bs from the 30's onward (including a Camargue!), Jag's, and race cars in the workshop, although it is predominantly the RR/B marque that'll be found.

Check him out at www.MichaelHibberd.co.uk , they're based just outside Slough, Berkshire.
