Ive fallen for a 1997 Continental T. I think it just look awesome. Saw it in a garage full of exotics and it was still able to keep catching my eye.

Car has around 85k miles, but has not been serviced in 3 years albeit it has only covered 5k miles.

How ruinous will this be?

Regards

Thanks for the reply

That is quite possibly ruinous!

It did have the hydraulic service back in 2009.

Do the headgaskets need replacing as a matter ofcourse or only when it showing signs?

Early indicators from Brian are generally good, with a few areas that need attention.

Awaiting the full report.....

A few more sleepless nights left I think........

Supplying dealer was doing a gearbox oil change for me, when the tech noticed chunks of metal in the bottom of the sump!!!!!!!!!

Needless to say a new gearbox is needed..............

Absolutely gutted! Was really looking forward to picking the car up and then this happens.
