1977 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II - Advice on buying?

Came across this one in my town for sale..

At €3K it seems like good value. Body looks good.

And classic tax and insurance.

What are these like to maintain? It says it needs some repairs..i did'nt call to ask the seller yet so I don't know what is wrong with it.

Are these a money pit? Do they require massive maintenance? Servicing expensive?

I know nothing about them. A very impulsive buy.

I am just thinking for €3K, classic insurance and classic tax and no depreciation and i would only drive it maybe 10-20 miles per week...it would be great to own one.
