Why thanks very much, it took a bit of doing
The spacers are coming off soon though.
Why? Any side/behind shots of the car?The spacers are coming off soon though.
You can't really see the exhaust in this shot, but it gives an idea of the rear aerokit bumper (which people don't fit often oddly) although if you do the side skirts it looks wrong without the rear due to the fact it all sits lower.
They're coming off because they make the car tramline badly, so the plan is to go back to the standard geometry, which IMHO there's nothing massively wrong with.
Also, do the wheels save much weight? Have they changed the handling?
I'll be keeping mine pretty standard externally but some lightweight wheels are tempting.

The photo is a bit deceiving as the camber isn't as extreme as the photo makes out, but it'#s had a little tweak yes
The wheels made a huge difference because they're Ultraleggera HLTs so weigh the square root of naff all, that combined with the brakes means that the unsprung weight has come down a lot making it a lot more responsive.

Hmm. My replacement tyres are £120-160 each at a quick glance. Your package was £720 with four tyres? Sounds like a no brainer.
Are they runflats? Do they help put the power down? Are you running a diff?

The tyres aren't runflats, i'll have to look later at what they are Goodyear eagle F1s possibly.
Not running a diff yet, the plan is to fit a Quaife one at some point, but TBH i've not really missed out on it.

Does your mate still do decent deals? I'll be changing mine towards the end of the year hopefully.

You'd be amazed how much grip these tyres have, but they are a fair bit wider than standard and because they're not runflat you don't have to suffer the hard compound.
