Ok I have found one with the following spec.......
Sounds good - Mini service history with TLC until Jan 2010
- 6 speed manual gearbox
- 28000 miles.
- Chilli Pack
- Full leather interior
- CD Player with Multifunction Steering wheel controls
- Cruise Control
- Reverse parking sensors (why!)
- Privacy glass
- 17" Alloys
- Digital climate control
- Xenon Headlights with washer
- Electric adjustable and retractable mirrors
Just bear in mind with the TLC service package, your not getting unlimited free servicing for the first 5 years/50,000 miles.
You get two oil services, an inspection one service, and a brake fluid change.

It all makes the power really, but that's because i went for a 17% rather than the 15% that everyone goes for.
17% pulley
440cc injectors (the standard ones can't pump enough)
GRS Intercooler (the standard one is frankly shocking)
Janspeed 4-1 manifold & cat (i've never seen such a poorly designed standard manifold, for the sake of the engine install it's fitted with kinks so it can be lifted straight in)
Remap (to deal with a lot of the emission control)
Alta CAI (it uses the low pressure area from the windscreen scuttle to increase the airflow)
Colder sparkplugs (the standard ones suffer once you up the pressure)
But to do it sensibly, i'd go with a 15% pulley, pulley protector (stops the tensioner buggering everything if the belt breaks) and a GRS intercooler. It'll still be quiet but will go with serious urgency and shouldn't be expensive at all.
Don't touch a superchips map though, i've seen 3 engines go bang with those fitted, to be honest until you start changing injectors you don't need a remap, the ECU is really capable.
Go for the Alta V2 pulley and don't use Minispeed. But the likes of Lohen and 1320 autos are both capable of fitting it.
The biggest problem with the manifold is the noise in the cabin, my OH wasn't a fan when it first went on.
The same with the CAI because you remove a panel and it's basically placed the other side of the glovebox meaning it sounds a lot louder.

15% pulley Get someone to fit this and the shorter belt
Pulley protector this should be fitted at the same time as the pulley
higher flow panel replacement (the standard one stays in until 50K!) you can fit this yourself
GRS Intercooler and you can also fit this yourself in about 30 minutes
If you're up north, lohen are fine for fitting a supercharger pulley, but i wouldn't go there for anything else.
If you're in the south east go for 1320 autos If you speak to paul or chris, tell him Oli and Kirsty sent you
If you're in the south west go to GT Tuning (who started by doing Renault 5 GTTs )

Yes GT Tuning, they used to boast like hell about having the most powerful 5 in the uk but would never even start the thing when it went to shows / drag strips.
Thanks for the info, maybe I'll go for some mild mods when I get it home, I'm fairly confident of fitting most by myself.
Oh indeed, i'd never touch his tuning stuff, but he can wield a spanner. Thanks for the info, maybe I'll go for some mild mods when I get it home, I'm fairly confident of fitting most by myself.
The only thing about doing the pulley yourself is that it's an utter bd to do, you need a puller to get the old one off and because it's an odd fit a standard 3/4 leg puller wont touch it without buggering the supercharger shaft and bending the monkey metal pulley.
Also you have to jack the car up and semi drop the engine out to get to the supercharger.
Here's the how to if you do decide to do it:

I've just bought an '05 Cooper S with my ideal spec... was very please to find it!
Full black leather
LSD
Chilli Pack
5 spoke 17" 'bullet' alloys
Tinted rear glass
Auto air-con
Auto lights/wipers
Multi function wheel (Cruise)
Single CD
Xenons
Park Distance Control
Chrono pack
Dark Silver/Black roof
Every car I was looking at was a compromise in some way, and then this one came along... was well chuffed

Sounds very similar to ours Rich.....except we don't have Xenons, just manual air con, factory shades instead of tints, half-leather and we're rolling on 5-spoke 16s. Got the sunroof as well.Full black leather

Dark Silver/Black roof is the best colour combination though, especially with the darkened glass.

I think mine are factory tints too, not just some dealer fit job (if that's the alternative?). I wouldn't mind trying one with 16s just for comparison, it seemed that all of the 'Cherished' Mini's were on 17's when I was looking...

Ah, no what I meant was we have the clip in window shades rather than the dark rear tints.....do the same job really, just keeps the worst of the sun out the kids' eyes.Dark Silver/Black roof is the best colour combination though, especially with the darkened glass.
We tried one on 16s and 17s and the 16s seemed a lot less 'jolty' on the local roads we use. My friend's old one was also on 17s and just seemed a bit too firm sometimes. I guess you get used to it though. The LSD was defintely worth having though...could really tell the difference powering through a damp roundabout.
Anyway, yours looks in lovely nick!
