It could do with spots on the front i think, already has the black mesh grill and it would look good with red/black spots but not sure how this encoding thing works, i could do the wiring but i'd sooner pay the dealer/a garage to do the job lot, is this something a mini specialist could/would do?

Could also do with a bigger roof spoiler too, so many different types to choose from, it already has smallish spoiler with brake light but bigger is always better

Warrantly co. was fine on the steering rack but were not happy when the charger went and i have to pay out for the replacement, thankfully the guys at minicraft sorted me a new one for cheap! smile

I've had all sorts of warranties and they are all pony, not worth the paper they are written on unless you get one to include wear and tear but they are not cheap, took one out on the 5 series though just because it was a good deal frmo the dealership.

So is the steering column a seperate issue to the PAS pump? What goes wrong with it?

no idea really, steering rack just failed not the PAS pump, not wear and tear, just failed for some reason, heard of a couple of others that have had the same thing. Basically at 70K ish minis become a little expensive. Chatting with Trevor @ minicraft he said they are just not a cheap car, things go wrong... Still, love my mini.

My 2003 cooper s is now up to 122000 miles and still going strong. I have done 50000 miles in last 2 years replaced drivers door window motor, exhaust mount, numberplate light on tailgate and had supercharger replaced under warranty. Car feels strong and still looks gr8. I also get it serviced regularly and usual tyres, pads.

Still on original Clutch.

Heres to the next 50k

Well, had ours a week now and nothings failed or fell off yet although she did get a puncture warning light on yesterday, luckily it was just the valve.....phew, don't need to be changing tyres after only a week, after all that was the reason we got rid of the KA and its just had 4 pirelli nero's fitted before we bought it.
