My dealer rang me last week to advise that our December MCS order was only at scheduled stage, not confirmed, so they were able to change it so that we get the facelift car. smile It's due week 10 in March now. Having seen some reviews, the MINI puddle light projection will come as part of the Chili Pack. I can see it being a Marmite item though.
Good to hear the dealer could be flexible. You'll probably need to visit again when the final spec is available to confirm your options.
The dealer sent me the revised quotation yesterday. it shows the standard price for the MCS LCI uplifted by 13% from our order placed in December. TBF to the salesman, he did advise the quote didn't include the discount, so I'm awaiting for the final cost. especially as we've added £9k of extras, inc DCT sport gearbox.
Apple Car Play & wireless charging is included in the Navigation Plus pack now, and the Chili Pack includes Adaptive LED Headlights with Matrix function. I'm guessing auto change from low to high beam and vice versa.

I believe the Union Jack LED lights will be standard, as will LED Headlights. The video on their website shows the car with it.

Around 9-10% discount on the pre-LCI car seems common - maybe more on a high spec car? It will be interesting to see where they can discount the new car to.

LED headlights are an option. The Union Jack rear LED lights only come with the LED Headlights option.

Really?

Anything i've read says that LED headlights are now standard across the range.

EDIT: In fact its on BMWs press release website

"New technology, cutting-edge connectivity, standard-fit front and rear LED lights across the range"

I read -saw something too about the rear union lights only being with an upgrade pack of lights for the new car. Cant remember where but certainly that's the impression I got.

The union lights do look good -

the Union Jack lights are standard on all UK models on the LCI

I want to convert to the UJ rears on my F56
I have LED already thankfully so this should work as the wiring loom won't work if you had standard lights on the new UJ LEDs

Found this website but don't think the part numbers are updated or correct yet as they say from 03/2018 but is actually showing the current led part number

https://www.etkbmw.com/bmw/EN/search/selectCar/F56...

I will buy them as soon as I can and give it a go

More info on the press release here which will help some of your questions:

I'm surprised they've went for anything as divisive as a mandatory option TBH.

I would have expected non UJ lights to be at least a no cost option.

I live in Northern Ireland. Whilst i've no issues with it from a "flag" perspective there are definitely people here who wouldnt buy the car with them fitted, or would "take exception" to a car with them.

I would imagine Scotland (with the former certainly) could be similar.

Its an age thing for me - at 49 i'm a bit too old to want little LEDs with flags on them emblazoned on the back of my car.

I like them, actually interested in retro-fitting them to my F57 if I end up keeping it past the summer.

I'm just also aware that not everyone will appreciate them.

Yes, its purely a subjective thing. Not for me personally, but i can see that some people will want them.
