Hi, just changing the front pads on my 54 Cooper S. There's a brake wear indicator on one of them which I'm not sure how to remove/change. I reckon I may have bought the wrong replacement pads (Mintex) as the new ones don't have a wire coming out of them.
Am I okay to cut the wire & remove the old pad & fit the new one? Obviously it won't have an indicator & the light will stay on.

Hannah.

Tbh they tend to disintergrate when removed replacements are about £12 for your dealer. P.s i thought you`d sold the mini for a cobra rep hannah?
Alright Chris!! I still have the Cobra - swapping the engine in the next few weeks. I live near Lichfield now, moved back from East Anglia about 8 weeks ago. I had a Smart car for a while, then a 205 GTi then spotted a 54 plate Cooper S on a Honda garage forecourt in October & bought it. Guess I missed the MINIs, it's my third Cooper S. Still miss the white one though....x
