Hi guys, Holland, country not just of tulips and partying in Amsterdam, but also of some beautiful Autobahns nearby. With the threat of 'die Grünen' (German environmental fundamentalist party) shutting down the limitless Autobahns you have to enjoy them for as long as they last.
So we organised a day for the members of a Dutch performance car forum. The original idea was to get some four to six cars together and have some fun, but in the end a lot more people than expected showed up.
The list of drivers included a BMW 535d (tuned to 350bhp), a Porsche 911 (996), a Ford Focus ST, a BMW E46 330i, a Nissan 350Z (mildly tuned), an Alpina Z4 roadster (300bhp), a BMW E36 328i tuned to 240bhp, an Audi RS4 tuned to 450bhp, three BMW E36 M3's (a 3.0 tuned to 330bhp, a stock GT and a stock 3.2), a Chrysler Viper, a BMW E46 M3 Club Sport and our suïcidal member Albèrt on his Yamaha R1. The whole circus was completed by the guest appearance of an unknown German in a Lamborghini Gallardo SE, who saw the group of cars and immediately knew what was going on.

Unfortunately, the pics are down at the moment (hope to have them up by tomorrow), but you can view a report of the day (in Dutch) here:

Also quite some nice vids in that topic, they should all still work.

Personally I'm a huge TVR and Lotus fan and would love to have one (or more ) of them present at a next meeting.
Unfortunately, due to the more than expected interest in this meeting we won't be announcing it publicly in advance the next time (to keep the group at a reasonable size), but if anyone here would like to join us next time, just send one of the mods at DF a Personal Message and that could be arranged.

Fine with me, but until now no word from the noisy guys.
BTW, the pics are back up now!
