I've just got back having taken the Elise and Claire down to Beachyhead on the south coast today. We started with a walk through the countryside and then took a look at the cliffs. The weather was fabulous and the Elise managed the 300 mile round trip (roof down) on just £35 of fuel...

pete, i`m one! bill oddie is britain`s best known twitcher. the basic definition is someone who actively seeks out rare birds. either by finding their own or more usually rare birds found by other people. think of it as "extreme birdwatching". traditional birdwatchers sometimes frown on twitchers, but once you get into it, it can become obsessive. try looking at "life and year listers" on www.surfbirds.com i`m in some of the lists!....... grabs binoculars and puts on anorak!
