BBC says 'heavy snow' for tomorrow; Metcheck says 'light sleet'. Flip a coin?

The drive to work was awesome driving

To the Audi Avant driver at Duston who over took me coming up to the lights, yes you may have a Quattro, but at least I was driving fast enough to be able to stop at the lights loser

Same here; still going strong too. Glad I can work from home as sounds like chaos in Cambs where I would be heading...

wouldn't go as far as to say it was awesome, took us half a hour just to get out of the road we were parked on frown got as far as the Saints and gave up, we both work in MK and the M1 is down to 1 lane from 15a to 14, would have taken us hours to get in.
Still shocks me that people drive at normal speeds when the roads are like this

Got about 5" in Higham Ferrers. Tried to get of the driveway at 6am but no luck. My drive way is on a hill and had to reverse off and snow is still falling.

Around 6:30am, my dozy misses decided to try and get to work in Rushden. Needless to say she got stuck, along with many others.
I had to walk a couple of miles to take her some boots as she decided flat shoes were appropriate footwear in 6-8 inches of snow.

Aaaaaarrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhh!

Been snowing out Daventry way all night too. I even got dressed for work, then failed in trying to get the van out of my close, so I'm off sledging instead.

Just took the dog for a walk, and looks like hardly anyone has gone to work on our estate today.

They haven't even attempted it, my excuse is that I am actually on a weeks holiday. wink
