Just reading the local paper, apparently they are trying to build a new estate over Walkton area, a travesty in it self, 8500 new homes.
And apparently 4000 new jobs, now my maths might not be the best but:

8500 houses = 17000 jobs, not many single income families these days.
4000 jobs, so what about the other 13000 required jobs on top of the unstoppable wave of imigrants floding the area?

80's is going to look like a party compared to whats coming!

Unemployment on the rapid up, nearly 5 million on benfits of some kind.......

Both myself and Nurse are looking for new jobs but theres nothing round here, looks like i'm stuck on the train for the forseeable.

Actually you commute is probablty worse than mine Alan, no way would i want to drive to Cambridge and back every day in rush hour. At least i can relax on the train and no speed cameras, jams etc.

Need local jobs for local people.

No great surprise there really.
Look at the state of the on way system, still not possible to go from south to north without rat running.
Biggest concern is employment in my opinion, Kettering has always had low levels of unemployment.
