Ray Lewis must be getting pretty sick of the uncertainty - poor fella probably had his holiday booked for 3 weeks ago hehe
I'm bracing myself for the pre-game fawning and back-slapping, teary-eyed farewell to that murdering, felonious dirtbag. He should be rotting in jail, rather than celebrating his NFL retirement - fking low-life
yes How someone who at the time received the record NFL fine can be so revered by the NFL establishment now is beyond me. He essentially bought off the families of the murdered men and had the charges against him reduced after ratting out his buddies. Utter scum.
Hear about Welkers Mrs?

"Proud of my husband and the Pats," Burns Welker wrote. "By the way, if anyone is bored, please go to Ray Lewis' Wikipedia page. 6 kids, 4 wives. Acquitted for murder. Paid a family off. Yay. What a hall of fame player! A true role model!"

If he is up to no good, then it doesn't make it any different, he can sort himself out too.

What the hell have the Jets been taking? yikes

Can't wait to see the Broncos vs Colts tonight. Wouldn't mind being in Indy at the mo!
Geno is coming on well, and that defensive line is always pretty good.

I am very much enjoying that my team is not embarrassing me this year.

Yeah but.... In the land of misfits.

Rex can play with the wildcat again in his last season, a season that like all the others will begin with wild boasts and fanfare and end in ignominy.
Rex tends to leave the offensive strategy to the coordinator, he'd rather run the ball ideally.
And there was no boasting pre season last year, in fact the media didn't write much, as they didn't expect anything at all from them.
It put too much pressure on the players making predictions, so Rex has learn't that lesson and does not do that anymore.

He really is the most inept head coach. Last year he had a fragile QB in Sanchez. So he drafts Smith and announces that there will be an open competition between them. Sanchez is frazzled anyway so that about finishes his confidence. Eventually he gets injured and an underdone Smith gets the gig with the inevitable consequences. Fast forward to now. He has a fragile QB in Smith. So he signs Vick and then announces that there will be an open competition between them! So Smith doesn't know where he stands and we all know that Vick is not a No 1 QB and will inevitably get injured regularly during the season. Rex is a moron.

Whilst he didn't say they would win the Super Bowl this week rofl he did suggest that they are better than ever and raring to go. Strap yourselves in for the last year of the circus and be ready for disappointment Jets fans!
Probably be ok.

Think that is a bit harsh on Rex. Remember that it is the GM that signs the players, not the coach. Although I will admit that the coach does have an input.

I think that the Jets will be a better team this year - although admittedly they over-achieved last year. Geno started to come good towards the end of the season and at least this year he has a viable target to throw to in Decker (although unless they can add another quality WR through free agency or trade as well as the draft, Decker will get marked out of the game). As you mentioned, Vick is too fragile as a bonafide starter, so I am expecting Smith to learn from Vick and step his game up in the face of increased competition. Let's face it, the competition from Sanchez wasn't great and Smith was as green (pun intended) as they come last year as a rookie.

Ah - it all becomes clear now.

So - thoughts on the possibility of signing CJ2K to compliment Chris Ivory?
Better spent on wideouts I think, Ivory and Bilal did ok.
