Trump needs a miracle now to win this.

I guess my mother lied to me when she said 'cheats never prosper'. frown

Enjoy the rest of the final gents, I'm off out.
Sad for the World Championship for a cheat to win.

Absolutely disgusted if Higgins wins.

Whatever he's done in the past, he's still a good snooker player if you ask me.

He is a good player but what he did was totally inexcusable, he should've been banned for far longer than he was.

Last thing the game needed. A poxy cheat overcoming a genuinely exciting future standard bearer for the game.

A hollow victory that leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

I don't know how Higgins had the brass neck to show his face on the professional scene again. Is there anyone that really believes the reasons he gave for agreeing to throw matches?

Then again, like most people who do what he did, he probably sees it as his right to do so.

Greed - such a nasty trait and especially so in someone who, by all reasonable standards, already has a very comfortable lifestyle.

Ha ha, Higgins conceded the frame just before Judd went in off the pink.

I so hope Judd can pull this off, a natural talent, who looks like he has a personality to match
He bet on himself to win 18-15.

Obviously There wasn't enough money on offer for him to throw the match.

I'm unsure how everyone figures he's a cheat, I've always thought that the aim of cheating is to win? What he allegedly tried to do was defrauding a betting company which however bad that may be shouldn't really have much bearing on how good a snooker player he is.

The aim of the scam is to cheat the ordinary punter who bet on the most likely winner, the bookie doesn't lose.

He's a very good snooker player, nobody would doubt that at all.

Cheating doesn't always mean trying to win. How many fighters have thrown a fight? That's cheating.

^ This.

We have a snooker world champion with absolutely no integrity.

He may be lacking integrity, however he's still one of the best, if not the best snooker players out there. Regardless of how greedy he may have got the fact remains.

Plus are we not all allowed one chance to redeem ourselves?

Just to make it clear I was rooting for Trump last night, I think the way he's played throughout the tournament meant he deserved the title.
