The PH Gun Cabinet - Shooting Matters

The officer isn't happy with the way my land is laid out to fire the .22.... But he suggested the FAC air rifle.
Fair enough. If thats a case, then go for it. I was huge fan of the RAPID7 .22 in FAC -owned two over the years. Great guns, very accurate and great triggers. Not available new now though.
I love PCP stuff, but it does come with the hassle of a bottle or a pump.
Absolutely beautiful night yesterday, so went up the fields with a good friend to smash a load of clays and also a bit of a walk to do some pest control.
The evening was partly to test a free shotgun... Yes, free.
A guy I know got it thrown in with a few other guns in a deal, thought it was a crappy old banger and didn't want it so gave it to me, so we decided to see how bad it really was.
It is a 'BRNO ARMS' and is proudly made in Czechoslovakia. It's a real old 'Post knocker' as we call them in The Lakes!
What a shock... It's really very good to shoot. Surprisingly light, the action is absolutely built like a tank, and it has barely any play at all in any of the moving parts, despite being erm, quite old!
Double trigger was a touch tricky at first, but soon got used to it.
The bigger surprise was that I absolutely smashed clays with it like there was no tomorrow... better than my own gun! I just instantly gelled with it.
So there you go... might go out again tomorrow and knock a few fenceposts in with it and then use it win a clay competition

Shot 39/60 at an unfamiliar clay shoot tonight. So not all bad.... Yourself?
All good thanks, getting around 38/41 out of 50 now, missing some silly easy ones and hitting the harder ones.... dunno why though.Work wise, managed to get down to 8-10 days in a month now which leaves me more time to relax and waste money at Bisley.
Must catch up sometime.

Can someone shoot that Astra estate and its owner please. We used to have one of those, very poor car indeed. The brakes and steering were both made out of the finest clay. The later model estate is ok though, vast improvement.
Shooting does not matter, it's a past time for people for who cannot aim very well, real men play darts and drink beer.
However that Astra estate does matter. Get rid of it using the PH Grenade cabinet .
NOW
PS the 4x4 on the right is top notch, not too heavy, really good off road and won't fall apart. Top work.

The Astra is mine and it's a van if you look again... It's my personal work hack. I also use it for leisure activities as you can see, because strangely none of my Porsches are particularly capable on grassy or muddy surfaces As for the Van, it's got Climate Control, Electric everything, Cruise Control, Auto Lights, Auto Wipers, Auto dim mirrors, Bluetooth/iPod, Sports interior, Privacy glass... What's not to like?
Anyway, Shooting does matter in this thread, so back to the topic in hand.
