Managed 42 points with 3 blobs which was great, but had 24 for the front 9 so a bit disappointing in the end. Short game/putting practice on Saturday was invaluable.
I think your handicap needs a little snip!![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)

Nice!![cool](/inc/images/cool.gif)
I thought it was a cracking Masters.
Rory was excellent in the end, despite never really being in contention.
Rose is swinging the club better than anyone on tour at the moment imo, his putter really let him down on Sunday.
Spieth is the real deal.
Woods is on his way back to genuinely contending, and most importantly seems to have sorted his short game out.
Big Phil just doesn't age, shows absolute magic and will always be loved.
Poults could have contended and I'll be keeping an eye on him, he has started the season well.
Casey has re-emerged from a low spell.
I think the Majors this year are going to be so good!
I have a bit of man crush on Justin Rose - probably my favourite player on tour along with Robert Rock!
So much so I just bought his sunglasses.....

Can't until this afternoon - going to be a scorcher and I'm playing golf as it's my birthday!
Because you wouldn't if it wasn't?! ![laugh](/inc/images/laugh.gif)
Happy birthday.
Thanks!

I was told recently that your average scratch golfer would struggle to break 100 at Augusta. There's certainly a massive difference between proper tour pros and local club pros.
An article in one if last months golf mags said the same more or less. A scratch player wouldn't break 80 in a tour event, or 90 in a major. I can well believe it too. I'm off to the belfry for 2 nights next week with 5 friends. We're playing all 3 courses. I'm not expecting to shoot anywhere near my handicap!

Popped down the local pro shop at lunch, another £279 poorer after purchasing a new scotty X5 dual balance, a work of art and will hopefully improve my putting!
So if anybody wants a Odyssey tank no 7 dual balance its for sale

I'm going to inherit some money soon from my late Nan, I plan on spending a few hundred quid of it on a special putter (Scotty Cameron or similar), but I'm going to get myself properly fitted for it. Luckily there is 1 of only 3 Scotty Cameron fitting centres not far from me.

it's a lot I agree, but I know the pro well ( off to Belek with him in 2 weeks!) so I got it for £240, but still a lot of cash but Scotty's hold there money so I shouldn't loose too much. Also it is the most used club in the bag and I can sometimes have over 30 putts a round!
I can't remember the last time I had less than 30 putts, if ever!! :lol:Gassing Station | Sports | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
