Should've been given as a try I reckon.

With space so much at a premium I don't know why teams don't use scrums like that more. 16 players tied up in a small area.

If the French game plan was to act like a bunch of thugs for the first half and injure as many as possible and then steal it in the second with their subs then it worked a treat.

Crappy game

I missed the first half, for which I think I'm grateful

I needed France to win by 3 or more - why did they not take the kick directly in front of the posts at the end of the game to help their points difference?!

Those bl**dy Franchies!!

Small chance of hitting the post and ball staying in play.

It was a rhetorical question - I realise the remote possibility, but this was straight in front of the posts, so for an international kicker the risk was next to zero. The pressure was off and points difference has been important in the six nations in previous years.

The first 12 minutes of this have been more entertaining than the whole of the IRE-FRA game

A try and a tough conversion.

Just threw away another try too.

TBH I thought that North should have had that. Cracking run by James though

Scotland are the architects of their own defeat here
