Well played Scotland but fking hell. I’ve not seen a team slip that many tackles for a a few years. Just woeful at times. Just hang an arm out. That’ll do it.

We deserved to lose that, but at least there was some idea about attacking.

Defence was genuinely woeful.

England. Your fking tackling is an embarrassment.
No recognition of ambitious, attacking rugby then?

England looked very poor there. Wales looked better against Ireland.

Not sure what you England fans expected though, only so much SB could do with EJ's men.

Counts for fk all when you give away soft tries I’m afraid.

Great to see ambitious rugby from both teams. To be fair to England, Scotland have been trying to play this way for a few years now. If Borthwick follows Townsends example, England will be very dangerous.

Both teams need to sort out their defence though.

Scotland played with an undeniable energy and ambition but fk me England made it easy for them. Scotland could have played the same game against France, Ireland, SA or NZ and come away with no tries.

Based on a data set of precisely 1, the timing of Jones’ sacking is looking appalling. Autumn in France - absent some sort of 2007 style dressing room revolution - looks like it’ll be very difficult.

I thought that was improved by England but my god the defence was poor at time. So many rushing up creating space behind then not getting their man.

Farrel caught out for 2 of them? Missed kicks and doesn’t offer much in attack………… the door is that way. Take his dad though.

I was happy for see some inside passes and phases of play to pull the defence around not seen that in years from England.

I do worry that in having creative players we are a bit light weight in defence.

P.S bit awkward Scotland star try scorer talking with a thick SA accent laugh

That was rather good, although neither team played like Ireland in the first half Vs Wales.

A trip to Twickenham.was a guaranteed gubbing for most of my life.

Attack by Scotland was very encouraging (even without Darcy Graham, and Russell having a very average game) - just need to stop the mistakes.

On an attacking note you can see the Harlequins influence- I hope this loss doesn’t mean they retreat away from that. Defensively England were rushing up v quickly , great when you nail the ball carrier but you have to go up all together , worked most of the time
England undone by poor tackling leading to a couple of soft tries
Thought Scotland were pretty good defensively. Attacked the wings and got some reward- Very NZ like in intent

I thought that. But I didn't want to voice it because you'd all think I was biased.

I thought Scotland played very well. I didn't see much to worry this Kiwi in the RWC from England as it stands.

TBF I think it’s been fairly clear that England would have make some step changes to be contenders for this RWC. France and Ireland, and of those France in particular, are going to be the NH teams to watch.

Now I enjoy a good game of rugby and enjoy the 6 Nations the most but don't really understand all the latest tactics etc. Can anyone explain to my Young's kept kicking the ball over the top but quite far away, even into the try area so it was easy pickings for Scotland?
