Why can the ball be put into the scrum as bent as anyone wants, yet the lineout throw ( much harder to do) has to be millimetre perfect?
Time for a bit of consistency methinks.

Itoje certainly has a glittering career ahead of him.

I think that Lawes has been the surprise of the tour

Faz didn't have a brilliant game, but his kicks were decent.. Especially that 45 metre with 2 minutes to go, to level the series.
That's some serious stones to do that under the circumstances.
I thought that kick was right on the limit of his range if not just beyond. At the limit (or near) many kickers seem to 'push' it a bit which seems to magnify any slight error resulting in hooks or pushes.

A soon as the penalty was given, I thought Daly. Then we started debating the ramifications of him stepping forward and 'demanding' the ball. All academic now obviously but Farrell must have some balls to take the decision and not abdicate it to Daly knowing it was at o near his limit?

Hats off to them all as almost everyone predicted 3-0.

Can we please now move on from 'what the hell does Gatland know'?

That is one hell of a CV for the AB job!!

I regularly post this question on the World Rugby facebook page.

Davies for me. 100% reliable in attack and defence.

I didn't rate JD previously, but happy to admit he has been absolutely outstanding this tour. The his running lines and timing have been sublime.

Crikey. What a result.

I had the ABs by 12+.

Great result for the Lions and close to bagging it. But the ABs have been the stronger side even when nowhere near their best.

Is Barret the best kicker they have?

Hats off to Gatland, being able to pull a team together in that space of time, no matter what the raw materials are, takes some doing. I also loved the red nose gag smile

If he gets the AB job they're going to be even harder to beat.

I have been wondering why they didn't try to go for a drop goal in the last phases.

A draw? Meh.

Well done the Lions I had to do a double take in the first half at times we were still close. The AB's will rue those missed chances and kicks they could have easily been out of sight come half time. I'd have liked to have seen extra time but I guess that has to be decided before the series starts.

Lions discipline let them down at times at it seemed to be Russian roulette at times with the referees interpretation of the laws.

So the AB's are only human after all. Barretts kicking from hand and game management was top drawer but id be looking at someone else to come in for the 3 pointers. I believe his younger brother has better stats and is seen at 12 eventaully.

Hmmm gona miss having no lions for 4 years.

I have only seen today's game and most of last weeks but based on that and various highlights/media etc, either of the above

8th July, Jon Davies gets voted Players Man of the Tour hehe

Some people are totally clueless. Jon Davies is the best 13 in the NH by a LONG way, has been for 2-3 years. He's also played every minute of the last six tests - but yeah, he only went because he was Welsh hehe

IIRC his form leading up to the Lions was patchy, that being the case it could be argued he got in due to being Welsh - what he did once he was in.... well the guy has been phenomenal and really tests the theory that you should only pick on form. That being said North's form was also patchy....

Well done JD.

Can someone please explain how that was even an accidental offside.
He clearly caught the ball ,oh st moment and then dropped it like a hot potato.
Clearly the ref had money on the draw.
