Etiquette question: where do you stand when someone else is teeing off? I thought it was behind and off to the side, but would you say 'off to the side where the player can't see you'?
IMO as long as you're behind the ball, and completely silent and still, and ready to watch where the ball goes if I lose it in the sky (or cabbage) it doesn't really matter. If anything, I'd prefer you were standing where I can see you, rather than stood behind me.
(my spirit animal is a paranoid rabbit)
From my one-o-clock to three-o-clock would be ideal.

That's what I thought it was, but there are some who seem to want you off the tee entirely.
You come across weird people in all walks of life!Being ushered completely off the tee would be a strange moment in a round of golf.

I’m sure there are a whole bunch of lads over there that can play those shots, but what I found remarkable is how he seems oblivious to the hype, attention and half a dozen cameras pointed at him. Very calm for such tender years, and his dad can certainly tell him about playing in the glare.
Played in our Winter League yesterday and managed to equal a Personal Best for birdies in a round - 4. Most annoyingly I had a 10 foot putt on the last for birdie number 5, but it lipped out ![frown](/inc/images/frown.gif)
Still a decent round though ending up with 37 points. Considering we couldn't see more than about 50 yards in front of us for the first 6 holes, I'll take that,
Also discovered range finders really don't work when it's foggy / misty. On the 7th I was trying to make my mind up between a 9 iron and a wedge, so got my laser out which told me I was 7 yards away.....![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)

Great to see John Daly still has it too, 27 under with his son to win the tournament.
It’s a joy to see Tiger back playing and playing well, with a son that seems to have a lot of talent in the game too.
Wonder what sort of odds might be available on Charlie Woods winning his first major by his 18th birthday. It’s a joy to see Tiger back playing and playing well, with a son that seems to have a lot of talent in the game too.

1500/1 to win his first major before age 22...Might be worth a quid, but there are hundreds of talented kids coming through all the time.
I watched the full video yesterday featuring Nick Faldo and his "hidden power plane" to see what the ending was and I must admit I just don't get it.
It's a 20 minute video that repeats itself over and over again without imparting any useful information that in the end asks you to pay $57 to acess a video about a 60 second drill.
1) Many many times during the video you can't help but think - "just get to the f
king point for god's sake!!!". Why do people think this kind of marketing vehicle does anything but piss people off?
2) How does Nick Faldo think that this does anything but demean himself and diminish people's perception of him?
3) There any many of this kind of long repetitive boring videos promising the world but delivering nothing but a demand for money after 20+ minutes of bulls
t. Does anyone genuinely respond positively to this extended video bulls
t?
Performance Golf Zone seems to have a lot of these types of videos advertised on the internet but to me they are a massive turn-off - who falls for this s
t?

How many of the world's top 1500 golfers won a major younger than 22? Only Woods and Spieth (in the modern era) so with a literal couple of exceptions, the best few thousand adult golfers in the world couldn't do it.
Charlie looks a rare talent, but he's got a loooong way to go to even become a 'top few thousand' golfer, never mind win a major.
