That was crazy. He slowed down at the end - he could have had a few more tenths if he had powered home!

So why did he slow down 10 metres from the end? His time could have been 9:5 if he'd pushed to the line!

He'll do a faster record when he's paid for it - no prize money in the Olympics but very significant record money in some of the invitation meets.
