Everyone enjoying some dull attritional cricket then ...
Good, just checking.
Personally I am enjoying immensely Aggers' gentle ribbing of Sir Geoffrey Good, just checking.
Wow, great review! Got the stump!
I think somebody cut short her stint and gave Aggers' free reign to give him some stick back and it was extremely entertaining.
WTF
The ball change means you go back to a ball from last year, different batch, swinging about all over!
Why don't they use a ball from the same batch? I really don't get some of these finite rules in Test match internationals!
All of a sudden the bowler has a cherry that is all over the place and the poor batter who has got used to no swing, has to adjust, it's like playing 2 sets of tennis with one racket and then changing it, crazy rules

The ball is doing things the ones England and the first OZ ball did not, that is clearly ridiculous. It's form a different batch FFS, obviously it is allowed and in the rules, no wonder we were trying so hard to get ours changed yesterday! I bet the players know it's going to happen.
Makes a bit of a mockery though I think. Yes you should be able to adjust etc, but you spend a day playing one way, then the ball starts swinging and you are set, bit unfair in my eyes.

We should be scoring for fun by now like Steve Smith did yesterday, instead we're blocking everything in sight and nicking the odd single. I'm pretty cross about this, as Boycott said, one of the batting side should have complained.Makes a bit of a mockery though I think. Come off it you lot, England ask for a different ball all the time and often get it too. Whilst it is unfortunate this time, it well within the rules.
True, but you'd think the umpires would have chosen one that even looked like it was 60 overs old, this one looks and moves like it's just come out of the wrapper. ukbabz said:

The 1950s called. They want to know when you'll be back home.
The name is just 'The Ashes' for the men, the womens series copied this and called themselves the womens ashes to distinguish - why should this force the original to rename? Whilst we're renaming history, should we ask the RFU / SRU to change the name of the trophy to the Kolkata cup?
