I think NFL End Zone, the Sunday morning show on C5, appears to carry a chunk of the round-up / highlights. As i found last night, it appears they also round-up a chunk of highlights throughout the Monday night show as part of the ad break slot filler.

As a Giants fan, and after the last few years, I guess i shouldn't be surprised about the result last night hehe That interception thrown after all the work to go downfield was rather deflating frown

That involves either waiting a full week for highlights or watching a 3.5 hour full show/game to see them? Neither are particularly appealing!
I’d personally rather have seen the sat night BBC show cancelled and Tuesday extended. We now have two ‘build up’ shows which seems illogical.

Game highlights are available on YouTube, but that’s a long winded way of catching the odd decent play in a game you might not otherwise choose to watch. I expected it would be down to pushing people towards Sky/NFL streaming but seems someone’s missed a trick?

Where do I now find my highlights package?
There doesn't seem to be a weekly highlights show on the SkyNFL channel either which is a shame - just 'hits' from the tv games.
Sky have NFL Overtime on Tuesday evening, which seems to be their highlights show. Rather annoyingly, they showed all the weeks results at the start of the show, before showing the game highlights.

Having watched the BBC, C5 and Sky coverage of week 1, I think I'll just stick with the Beeb's NFL Show, and pick up some live games as and when I can. It's a shame they dropped the midweek roundup show, as the BBC just consistently do this sort of show so much better than anyone else.

Having watched the NFL show on BBC1 last night, they do appear to still cover hightlights of a chunk of the previous weeks games within it - although still not ideal as it's a week late but take what you can i guess. It's worth it just for the banter hehe

I do wonder whether the Tuesday show was dropped this year due to Covid. Bearing in mind they used to film both shows seperately it might have been argued asking all 3 presenters plus crew to come into the studio more than once a week wasn't required when they could compact everything into an extended Saturday show? Plus with Jay signing up to Strictly and the additional training that might have left even less time for filming, etc. Add in the availability of highlights on various packages from Sky, C5, NFL Network (and i assume YouTube) i guess it's easy for it to be scaled back.

Dak trying to earn that new contract.

My team the Giants are struggling. Better second half against the Bears, but we lost our best player Barkley for the season. This is going to be another tough year.

My colleague at work is a Dolphins fan. I think he just accepts they will be rubbish each season.

Another dolphins fan here, felt like we dragged ourselves back into it yesterday only to give away 2 quick TDs.

Fantasy team took a hammering yesterday with Julio and Saquon getting injured.

Quite funny in my house, I'm a Dolphins fan while my lad is a Bengal - trading insults about how ste the other's team is is pointless as it's equally applicable to our own team.

As a Cardinals fan, it's nice to say that I may finally be leaving the club (touches ALL of the wood).

This game week was a crazy one for season ending injuries. Maybe those pre-season games had a point after all!

If anyone is interested in The Athletic (subscription based publication which has excellent NFL coverage, along with Premier League etc.) you can sign up for £1 a month here rather than the usual £8 a month (for the first 12 months) https://theathletic.co.uk/checkout2/intro1/intrope...

Absolutely no affiliation or benefit to me - just sharing a deal.

I'm with you. Vikes are as bad as it gets this year. I can't see them getting a win from their next 4 or 5 games. Strap in for what is likely to be the worst season in living memory for Vikes fans - and that's saying something! At least we can't get in to see it in person this year.

Bill didn't look very happy after the Seahawks game hehe

Glad i stayed up last night and watched the Raiders game. Nice result to christen their new stadium since the move to LV, but it must be gutting for them not to have had a crowd there for that.

Speaking of the Raiders. Pretty funny interview with Gruden wondering what was going on with the redesigned play calls in week 1 where his wife's name seemed to crop up in the calls every now & again hehe Week 2 it appeared they were occasionally using names from the club ownership / management structure hehe

I wonder if the British Rb at the bills will get a call up/would be good to see him play (even if I don't know his name)

Not a troll here, honest. This has maybe been asked before so sorry but...

Genuine question...

Raiders ( remember Marcus Allen from the 80's when NFL first hit UK shores?) I watched their highlights tonight against the Saints. Las Vegas? What???

Oakland - LA- Oakland - Las Vegas? Really??? fking landlords chasing you for rent or something??

Many other teams have moved over the years, we know this but I just understand it. Our football is imbedded in tradition and roots ( MK Dons/Wimbledon) being an obvious exception. Over there it seems so common, As a fan I'd likely be raging at the almost dismissive afterthought to the fan base/home crowd.

I guess money is the obvious driver? Or?

Honestly, I think it's an insult. Do they practice that as much in baseball/basketball?

Just doesn't sit right with me. Is their no loyalty to the home fans? What gives?

( and unless you can spot a PH post with so many question marks, I win )

I think you are right with the 'money' answer.

The new Vegas stadium was paid for by the city via a surcharge on hotel rooms.

There seems to be less issue with franchises moving over there - only the Browns seem to have been able to keep the rights to their name when the old team moved (to Baltimore in '95) and restart with an expansion team (in '98).
