Speed of play is shocking
Really? It’s taking them about 5 1/2 hours to get round on one of the hardest courses in the world, for arguably the most desirable title in golf. Edited by Blackpuddin on Sunday 8th April 17:10
Play in a monthly medal at most clubs and it’ll take you close to 4 1/2 hours, and that’s on courses over 1000 yards shorter.

I know the greens are tough but the time taken over these putts almost sends you to sleep. Its not too noticeable because they jump around from home to hole to cut a lot of it out but it's unwatchable on the red button when they follow certain groups or a certain area of the course, it takes them forever Play in a monthly medal at most clubs and it’ll take you close to 4 1/2 hours, and that’s on courses over 1000 yards shorter.

Tough isn’t the word. 6-8 foot putts with 2 or 3 feet or break on greens running at 14 or 15 on the stimp would make anyone take a bit of extra time. It’s not just that though is it? Look at the shot Fowler just faced for going long at the 5th. Impossible up and down followed by a hard, hard 2 putt.
