Who's the American commentating along with Peter Alliss, he's got some amusing one liners; straighter than train smoke, left a lot chicken on the bone, something else about chicken wings. Are these genuine golf terms or is he just making it up as he goes along... laugh

Hate to use the word but Rory has choked. So many missed putts.

I think these are just general Americanisms rather than golfing terms.
Favourite for me today has been ‘more moves than a show dog’,

Yep.

At the height of his career, he won the '93 USA PGA playing through pain in his shoulder, which was shortly afterwards diagnosed as being cancer!
US Ryder Cup winning Captain in 2008 as well.

She’s my favourite pole vaulter. Much better than Sergei Bubka.

Gutsy from Reed. Was hoping for a playoff.

wanted Fowler to win, such a great player. In the end it was well deserved by Reed I guess.

Indeed, perhaps not the most popular figure in the game, but actually pleased for him. Didn’t back down, and a deserved champion.

Seems to be a fair amount of hate for reed, anyone know why? He got the job done. Can’t really argue with the scorecard.

First time I have watched the masters. Loved it.

I believe it's to do with his antics at the Ryder Cup

Its been a quality tournament..... especially the such high standard tonight.

Reed did exceptionally well, seems like a nice guy too. Even Spieth comes across a lot better than he used to.

It’s horrible. I cringe every year.

Wouldn’t mind sitting there though!

I'm not a golfer, so I apologise, but did Fowler keep putting a marker down and moving his ball before putting?

The whole club seems to be populated with very odd people.

Like a male version of the Stepford Wives (if I have the right film).

To be fair it is a truly great golf course!

It’s certainly a very idiosyncratic place. I live in hope that I’ll randomly bump into and have a beer with a member somewhere and get an invite.

There’s only 300 members though, and I don’t think we drink in the same bars frown
