ah, good game.
Credit to Pakistan for decent batting and being less calamitous than usual in the field

Fantastic game, brutal batting at times.

Morgan & Ali off the pace, even Morgan's solitarty six crept over the boundary, he barely middled a shot all night.

I wonder if sometimes we're too nice. Looked very much like the ball that got Curran out was high but not a peep of protest from England; you can be sure if it was t'other way round, everyone would know about it.

Great innings from Babar, Fakhar, Livingstone, superb match.

Ali frustrates me so much for England!

Fantastic game though, pleased for Livingstone.

Pakistan have improved immeasurably in the field. They used to be a bit Fred Karno.

We've put up a decent total, but I did think that Livingstone was a little careless and Bairstow more so.

Straight back over the bowler's head, carries on over the grandstand and out of the stadium at Headingly. Some shot! biggrin

The commentators' disbelief is amusing to hear

Livingstone and Joss the Boss are just an awesome pairing. Technical monsters.

Was exactly the same on t'wireless.

He's (LL) talked about the coaching received during the pre-series 10day period. One thing he's now doing is not aiming to hit the ball quite so hard. And it goes further. His own assessment not mine smile
May the purple patch continue.

He’s done a lot of technical work in the last season. Body position, core strength & stability work, hand position. His “root” body position is now a lot stronger, there is way more effective tensile strength through his core. The upshot is you spend less time, concentration and effort winding up the big swings and trying to leather. You get the same results with much smaller, quicker movements.

The wife has done bio mechanical work with cricketers, it’s fascinating to follow in that respect. Amusingly, she has no interest in cricket at all, I’m the cricket geek.

I just know I will keep feeling short changed when I expect there to still be 20 balls to go for the grand finale hehe

I will probably end up watching the Hundred. I do quite like T20 both to play and because it is convenient to sit down and watch of an evening. I traditionally listen to Test matches on the radio, which is how I got into cricket in the first place.
