Was he as big a showman (idiot) as he's seemed on all his TV interviews then?

Is he any good, so maybe the matches on TV and his injuries have made him look worse than he should?

I wouldnt worry about it, I just get pissed off when someone with 8 wins and has been in against someone like Murray gets pilloried as a total joke just because he happens to be banging some slag. The guy may well suck these days but at least he gave it a shot. Would anyone here turn down several £k for sitting on their ass on tv for a few weeks? Nope? I didnt think so.

It was a bit 'instant' and harsh I admit.

To be honest it's nothing to do with BB or the press coverage - obviously I've seen so little that I couldn't even get his name right and could care less about that - more his attitude on various TV shows over the past couple of years + seeing some later fights where I was disappointed given his reputation (only saw the Murray fight on replay much later).

Maybe I need to check out more of his fights/wins as the 4 or 5 I have seen didn't impress.

I think he sucks as a fighter, his display agaisnt Murray was pretty bad, he just cheated throughout by grabbing the ropes and he was rubbish of the TUF 9 pre lims but he does get overly hammered for shagging Jordan. He should get a medal for risking sticking his cock anywhere near that spunk ridden thoroughfare!

Sounds like I hadn't exaggerated his fighting abilities then!

I hadn't even heard about the Jordan link until this week, by which time I'd already taken a dislike, so it's not tart envy!

He was very average most of the wins on his record are from when my old coach used to set up the fights in the early 2000`s. Im fairness he can take some punishment mind you so does my mrs

I suppose you're in a very different weight class but did you ever spar against him, on top of training together?

Ive been to a couple of his fights in the early 2000`s and seen him totally outclass his opponant and put them to sleep with a big right hand - he was a quality fighter.
