Yes it wasn’t there at 8 as advertised but all up and running now.
Karatsev looking very good, going to be tough one for Andy.

Karatsev gave Andy a bit of a pummelling there.
He should go far in the AO

Yes Karatsev looked very tidy. Although it’s great for him reach a final just hope Murray gets until Tuesday to get over that and hasn’t taken too much out of himself.

It’s good to see Kokkanakis playing well too in another good news tennis story.

Looking forward to the AO and Can’t look past Medvedev for the win.

So Fernandez got knocked out of the AO in the first round. I’m afraid Emma will follow suit. Has it ever happened before that the two finalists from the previous grand slam get knocked out in the first round of the next grand slam?

Shame about Cameron Norrie. He was playing so well towards the end of last year, winning Indian Wells but not sure he has won a match since.

Well played Heather Watson though - looked fitter and moving well - good win.

Watching Andy at the moment. Just let slip a break in the final set.

Already bored with the booing or whatever the crowd is doing, which they clearly find hilarious, but actually gets old after the first time. Drunk idiots being idiots?

That’s a relief. He got it across the line.

Basilashivili (spelling?) really is a strange player. So many unplayable and outrageous shots. Yet wild errors and bizarre shot selection.

I didn’t think it was a great match. Andy was quite passive for a lot of the match waiting for errors - so most of the winning and losing points came from his opponent.

But at least he is through. When he limped off three years ago facing surgery I didn’t think he would be back.

Is it only Discovery Plus sport that is showing tennis live in the UK?

It's the Cristiano Ronaldo 'siuuu' celebration noise. Not booing (but still daft smile).

Ahhhhh I did wonder, as the BBC commentary was referring to that 'siuuu' thing but I had no idea what they were talking about.

That a great win, but can't warm to Evans at all.
Like a typical bad-tempered, classless 'angry' opponent from opposing club in local leagues. Fed up to back teeth with them.
Norrie far more matured.

Good summation. Most people learn from bad experiences but his dubious exploits in the past don't seem to have taught him anything about humility.

ER wins 2-1 against Sloane Stephens in a match with an error-strewn second set.

Kyrgios wins shot of the day with his ridiculously cool penultimate shot in a long rally to take the second game in the second set - well worth watching!
