really enjoyed the card, best for a while. Great to see Mcgregor back up his talk, i honestly thought Poirier would give him a tougher test.
Connor's attitude leading up the fight is always the same, he fought my friend Dave Hill on Cagewarriors a few years ago and was going crazy and getting in dave's face, for as much as he didn't want to admit it all the trash talk definitely got to him

Not a bad couple of cards - I was fairly amused that the 'home' fighters didn't win a match...
Just realised I slept through the MacDonald fight, so need to go back and watch that!
You didn't miss much, two skilled fighters who cancelled each other out to a large extent and one perfectly timed shot to one chin.Just realised I slept through the MacDonald fight, so need to go back and watch that!
Did anyone watch Beyond the Octagon last night? Connor Mcgregor was the guest and was very funny, especially his argument with Chad Mendes.
UFC 179 this weekend and i think the title fight is a tough one to call but overall i reckon Aldo will come out the winner
I was cornering one of our fighters at FCC in Bolton this past saturday and that was a superb event, probably the best UK show I've been to for the atmosphere and quality of fights, i'd recommend it to anyone, maybe not got quite the level of fighters as BAMMA & Cagewarriors but as an overall package as a fan it's probably the one i'd choose to go to
I'm still training hard for my next fight at the end of November, feeling absolutely bashed at the minute and am riddled with injuries so looking forward to getting it over and done with so i can rest/heal up of the xmas period. I've done a few grappling comps and two MMA fights over the last 5 months and with the almsot continous training camps it's starting to take its toll, i can 100% see why people that do this for a living are drawn to PEDS, for the haling/recovery properties as much as anything

That was really dirty when he basically KO'd him after the bell (apparently it was so loud in there they couldn't hear the bell so maybe it can be excused). I definitely think he won a few rounds in there, I question the judges. I thought he was going to play up a few eye pokes which didn't happen to get a point taken off. It was a lot closer than the judges scored it.
