Fabulous, well done Quins!

Nice to see Mr Angry with the team at the end, enjoying the celebrations. They're going to miss him.

Very true but they have a very capable replacement in Green. I’m feeling a bit emotional atm especially considering where we were at Xmas. Outstanding performance.

Well played Quins.
Maybe it is time for young Marcus to be given a go with England!

Brilliant game of rugby. Have loved watching Quins play in recent months, so refreshing.

If you tried to pitch a Hollywood film script of Quins' season, it would get rejected for being too far fetched! hehe

Get thrashed at home by Exeter in the first game of the season, sack the manager, don't replace him, watch the team become totally transformed, scrape into 4th, to be written off by everyone ahead of the semis, come back from a record deficit to win the semi, get written off again by everyone before the final, only to win it against those same defending champions that humiliated them in the first game of the season in what was, I think, the highest scoring final ever, with only 2 points in it!

What a rollercoaster, and get in, you lovely, wonderful Quins! biggrin

Well, that was a very good day out. With 10 minutes left I was convinced Exeter were going to squeeze the game out. How wrong I was. The ticket I had came from Quins own allocation so we were surrounded by friends and family of the club. Whole North stand going nuts at the end. Thought Smith really showed his class today and I thought Lynagh looked pretty tasty, one mistake aside

Any thoughts on how come Chiefs were allowed to have their silly music blaring out like a home game whenever they scored?

Well they were the highest league finishing finalists, so they get to wear their 'home' shirt, and come out of the tunnel second, like the 'home' team always do.

I was wondering the same. Given the dubious cultural appropriation ( some would call it racism) I am quite surprised the powers that be allowed it.

Quite refreshing really with the increasingly invasive woke culture that is being forced upon us these days.

I'm still struggling to believe what I've witnessed in the last two Quins games. The self belief in this squad is just extraordinary - how did they manage to peak again after last weekend? Well, I dunno, but I did see a great observation from Danny Care last night, where he'd apparently warned the youngsters fact that Sarries were coming back & they might want to have a think about whether there will be a "next year".

Much love & respect in this household for Rob Baxter too - what a thoroughly decent, straightforward, respectful, graceful human being, to be able to say, in that moment, after the match, that one of his positives in losing a final, was to see how much winning meant to the opposition.

How great has it been to see open, creative, try-scoring, running rugby? Let's not forget, Quins women's are champions too, this year. Many, many congratulations to them.

Keep up the good work Exeter. Best of luck for 21/22.

Fair play to Quins.

The "we'll chuck it about and score more than you" gameplan was the only way they could win this. And they just about executed it perfectly.

Marchant was absolutely sublime. Real unsung hero, and should have been MOTM.

I managed to miss seeing the result all yesterday (including reading t his thread) until I watched the match this morning - utterly brilliant and I would echo what the commentators alluded to in that the semi-finals and this final were perhaps the three best games of domestic rugby seen in the past decade or so.

Simmonds and Smith should be shoe-ins for England - having them in the same team would be fantastic to watch.

I suspect that a combined Exeter/Quins team would comfortably beat England.
